3beLiEVe held its kick-off meeting on 14th, 15th and 16th January 2020 at the premises of the project coordinator, AIT, in Vienna, Austria.
The main objective of the kick-off was for the project partners to better get to know each other, to obtain a refresher on the project as a whole, and to focus on the activities that start up immediately or soon after project start.
The first half day was dedicated to organizational items such as project context, project management, dissemination, communication, IPR and exploitation. Our project officer also dialled in to give a welcome and overview of expectations as well as useful information from INEA, the project’s funding agency.
The first day was topped off with a social dinner at a restaurant in Vienna’s city centre, which allowed the partners to better get to know each other and build team cohesion.
The full Day 2 was focused on the near-term work packages. WP leaders outlined their plans and there was time to go into some in-depth discussion. The day was rounded off with laboratory visits to the AIT materials lab, the battery testing lab, and one of the Vision, Automation and Control labs.
Finally, the morning of Day 3 was used to give an outlook on the WPs starting up later. It concluded around lunch time, giving partners the possibility to embark on the journey home or, in some cases, stay and enjoy Vienna a little.
